$40 MUST be paid by October 19th. If you pay by check, please make it out to Troop 533. If you want to pay online, then I can set up the paypal account.
If an adult wants to go as a chaperone you MUST be registered and you MUST have a background check done. http://www.citrus-gs.org/…/for-volunteers/why-volunteer.html Please click on the link above and then click on whichever is appropriate for you (New Volunteer, renew volunteer, parent volunteer), then fill out the form and then it will take you to the background check website. You CANNOT attend without these. Also please make sure your daughter is registered, if they are not registered, they CANNOT attend.
Any adult that is going to attend WILL BE A VOLUNTEER for camporee. If you want to attend then you HAVE to help with the events.
This is NOT a bonding time for mom and daughter. This is a time for the girls to grow as a girl and girl scout. You more than likely will not see your daughter. You are also there to set an example, that means no foul language, no promiscuous clothes, etc. No short shorts, no tanks (shorts that show buttocks or tops that show your bosom).

Rules for camping: ABSOLUTELY NO ADULTS SLEEPING WITH A GIRL, EVEN YOUR OWN DAUGHTER. These are the rules that girl scouts requires. It does not matter, girls will sleep in a separate tent from adults, NO EXCEPTIONS!
Men cannot sleep in tent with women. Even your own wife. Men have to be set up in a different area from the women/girls.

NO TAGALONGS! Sisters and brothers cannot attend/tagalong.
If you do not think your girl can stay away from home for 2 nights, bring her for the day. She will still earn her patch and shirt.
NO OUTSIDE FOOD. We will ALL eat as a troop, together, adults and girls
If your want to make a fairy house, please feel free to make one at home and let a leader know. They will be due Friday night of camporee. They are to be no bigger than a half gallon. Do not put fairies or dolls on it though (fairy is not home). We will earn points for houses made. These are for the daisy fairy hunt.
We will be making situpons and swaps on Oct 26th. We will also work on skits for Saturday night. On Oct 26th ALL girls will be meeting at the Pine Castle House.
